Prof Vipin Kumar Chilana
Prof Vipin Chilana has been with IBPS as Faculty since 1987 and rose to the level of full professorship in 2000 within 13 years. With 39 years of professional experience at present he is Advisor, CR Divisions. He was also a Visiting Professor at NMIMS, JBIMS, JDBIMS, SIMSREE, MET, SIES, Rizvi Institute of Management Studies and Research, Chetna Institute of Management and Research, IBS and SP Jain Centre of Management, Dubai. He was also Local Counsellor for the MBA program of Strathclyde University. Prof Chilana taught Psychometrics, Quantitative Techniques in HRM, Research Methodology, Statistics and Personnel Assessment for more than two decades. Previously, he served as the Division Head of various Divisions of IBPS viz R&D, Client Relations, Test Design & Analysis and P&T Division. A University topper of Panjab University’s PG Diploma in Guidance and Counselling, he has been conducting Assessment Centres, GDs and Interviews for IBPS and was also an invited Assessor for EY Assessment Centre for Higher positions upto ED level.
Professor Chilana has deep insight into developing testing tools and Psychometric analysis and worked with Public Sector Banks, Central Financial Organisations, Regional Rural banks, Educational Institutes and other organisations in designing testing tools. He started his career in 1981 with NCERT's Educational Psychology Unit undertaking research studies related to Psychological/Educational Tests and Educational/Vocational Guidance. He was with NIPCCD as faculty for more than four years. A PhD guide in management for the past 14 years, Professor Chilana has an impressive list of publications to his credit. He has been an Action Researcher and a Data-based innovator in designing and improving testing models, processing and related analysis systems. He has been among the very few experts in India on IRT and Computer Adaptive Testing.
In 1999, Professor Chilana was offered Full Professorship at Mumbai University's prestigious JBIMS but continued in IBPS due to his interest in computer-based exam initiatives. In 2006, he spearheaded the launching of IBPS online exams and online applications which helped transform the landscape of computer based testing in India. He has been trained by and with international experts and had orientation, training and interaction sessions at Michigan State University, Minnesota University, NCS/Scantron- Minneapolis and Iowa City, ETS, SHL, CSSB-London, Sylvan Prometrics- Baltimore, UMIST- Manchester, University of Twente – Arnham, Netherlands, Psychometric Cluster-MIMOS- Kuala Lumpur. He co-conducted Modern Psychometrics workshop in Jiaxing University, China.
Mr Pramod Menon
Mr Pramod Menon is a highly endowed teacher-mentor and educational leader. He is currently on the Visiting Faculty at Symbiosis School for Liberal Arts, Pune. Mr Menon taught English Language and Literature early in his career and headed the IBDP for long. He has been associated with renowned institutions like Kodaikanal International School, Mahindra World School, Central Institute of English and Foreign Languages, Hyderabad and Rishi Valley School. He taught Modern English Literature and Literary Theory at the University of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, U.S.A between 1980 and 1988 and pursued doctoral studies after doing MA and M.Phil at Kerala and Calicut Universities. Mrs Pooja Bose
Mrs Pooja Bose is an educational leader and teacher trainer having a distinguished career of 27 years. Currently, the Principal of The High Range School (Tata Consumer Products), Munnar, she had been associated with chains of schools and headed DPS and KR Mangalam World School. Ms Ritula Singh
Ms. Ritula Singh is a professional educator having 30 years of industry experience. She had a distinguished academic and administrative career in the K-12 and the corporate space. She is a Masters in Applied Psychology with a degree in Teaching besides multiple credentials and certificates of excellence - including those from the Government of Delhi.
Talented in academic planning, curriculum development and teacher-training, Ms Singh spent a major portion of her administrative life serving renowned educational conglomerates such as The Shri Ram, Vibgyor High , APJ, FIITJEE and Ryan International. Currently, she heads The Cambridge School, Doha.
Working across boards of education like IB, CIE (Cambridge University) and CBSE, she painstakingly invested her time determining the training needs of curriculum developers and teachers. Differentiated Instruction, Styles of Learning and other teaching-learning methodologies to improve student-learning have been her focal concern. She was a pivotal resource on a team that developed a number of training tools, curriculum books and innovative teaching-learning methodologies.
Mrs Madhu Suri
With over three decades of experience, Mrs Madhu Suri is an educational leader par excellence. She is currently Director of the famed Shri Ram Global Schools and Bharatram Global Schools and advises the group. Prior to it, she headed Shemrock Jagat School (Delhi) and Maxfort Group of Schools as Principal and Director. Her focus has been on life skills , values, self- confidence and holistic development which came to constitute the core ideologies of her curriculum planning. An acclaimed education leader, she worked with a crusader’s zeal to advocate and introduce child- friendly policies and reforms at National level in association with CBSE, NCERT, COBSE , MHRD , NHRC , NIEPA. Prof Edward Edexhath
Prof Edward Edezhath spent over three and a half decades teaching English at St Alberts College, Ernakulam. He served on the Syndicate of Sree Sankara University for 9 years and headed the laity division of the Catholic Bishops' Council. An avid researcher and child development specialist, he was chosen the Principal Investigator of a Major UGC Research Project on Children's Games. He is a much travelled youth trainer and State Vice Chairman of Gandhi Darshan Vedi. Dr Edward has several books and publications to his credit.
Pandit Chethan Kumar Joshi
An educator-turned-musician, Mr Chetan Joshi was formerly the Headmaster of DPS Bokaro and a senior officer of FIITJEE India. One of the foremost Hindustani flautists of the day, he has enthralled music lovers all over the country and abroad at the most prestigious of Sabhas, Stages and Utsavs. Playing three and a half octaves on the same flute is a uniqueness attributed to Pt Joshi and got him a place on several research papers.
Chetan Joshi had the fortune of being mentored under some of the most revered Gurus including the world-renowned Pt Raghunath Seth, Acharya Jagadish, the Late Pt Bholanath Prasanna and Padmabhushan Pt Ajoy Chakraborthy.
Many honours and awards came seeking Joshiji. Rajakiya Sanskritik Samman, the highest honour of the Government of Jharkhand, Sur Mani, Bismilla Samman, Saraswathy Samman, Maharaja Swathi Thirunal Award, Kala Ratna Samman, Sangeeth Bharati Award and SaMaPa Tejaswi Samman being some of them.
Joshiji lives in NCR and is involved in teaching the flute and promoting Indian Classical Music. Besides, he actively participates in concerts across the country and lectures to invited gatherings including those at the NCERT.
Mr Harendra Chakhaiyar
Mr Harendra Chakhaiyar has studied and worked in some of the finest public schools in the country. These include La Martiniere for Boys, Kolkata, The Doon School, Dehradun, GD Goenka International School, KC International School and Indus International School. His rich and rounded experience in the field spans over CBSE, ISC and IB Boards.
Mr Chakhaiyar has authored a series of books on environmental education referred to by prominent websites. Working closely with the Council of Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi, he has also trained over three thousand teachers across the country. Mr Chakhaiyar is a graduate of Presidency College, Kolkata, and a post-graduate in Environment Management.
